“I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. I spent most of my life as a mechanical engineer. When I retired I decided to try my hand at painting. I discovered an emotion I didn’t know I had. I enjoy doing landscapes and abstracts with farm and cityscapes my favorites. I am self taught with no formal art education. I get my inspiration from just viewing wonderful cloud formations and the interesting patterns in nature. Abandoned farms also intrigue me and I love their architecture.
My goal is to create a visual experience that is both interesting as well as unique. I hope you enjoy.”
